Navjot Singh Sidhu resigns from RS

New Delhi, July 18 (IBNS): Cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday resigned from the Rajya Sabha.

He was a BJP nominated member to the Upper House of the Parliament.

Sources close to Sidhu told Indian Express that he might be joining the Aam Aadmi Party.

Punjab will go for Assembly polls next year.

More details are awaited.
