Narendra Modi wishes nation on Dhanteras

New Delhi: Indian PM Narendra Modi on Friday wished the nation on the occasion of Hindu festival of Dhanteras.

He wished the festival brings prosperity and good health in everyone's life.  

"Many congratulations to all of you on Dhanteras. May Lord Dhanvantari bring happiness, prosperity, good luck and good health in everyone's life" the Prime Minister wrote on Twitter in Hindi.

According to the Hindu calendar month of Kartik, is celebrated every year on the thirteenth lunar day of Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) that marks the first day of the festival of Diwali in India.
