Dhaka/New Delhi: Indian PM Narendra Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina might meet in December, media reports said.

Speaking to Dhaka Tribune, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen said the two governments were discussing the matter.

“We are currently discussing the matter of the two prime ministers meeting,” he told the newspaper.

It is yet undecided whether the meeting will be in person or virtual, he further said.

“It is too early to say whether the meeting will take place in person or virtually,” Dr Momen said. “If the Covid-19 situation remains unchanged, the meeting will be virtual.”
