Narendra Modi pays tribute to former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri

New Delhi, Oct 2 (UNI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday remembered former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on his 115th birth anniversary.

Taking to micro blogging site twitter, the Prime Minister said, 'I salute the former Prime Minister on his birth anniversary who's slogan ans call ' Jai Jawan jai Kisan' maid a new energy run through the whole country'.

Modi also uploaded a short video message on his twitter handle showing Shastri's love for Khadi and also mentioned and praised his determination and grit.
