Bishnupur/UNI: West BenPRAgal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday alleged Prime Minister Narendra Modi only talks big, makes false promises like crediting Rs 15 lakh to everyone's bank accounts but LPG prices touching roof:

Addressing a public meeting here, Banerjee said, “I respect PM's chair but sorry to say, Narendra Modi is big liar.”

“He only speaks lies. Who are the goons? Today, due to BJP torture, IPS officers in UP are leaving their jobs," Banerjee said.

The chief minister said, “They (BJP) bringing goons from outside, they are destroying our culture.”

The TMC supremo alleged Pan masala-chewing, tilak-sporting people sent from states like UP before elections to foment trouble are outsider goons for us

“We don't label people of other states staying in Bengal for ages as outsiders,” the chief minister said.

"They said Beti Padhao Beti Bachao, yet they could not spend a single rupee. Yet our government provides scholarships of Rs 1000-2500 to girls," Banerjee added.

Earlier, Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra on Wednesday criticised West Bengal BJP president for allegedly asking at a public meeting why Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was wearing a saree, adding that she should be wearing 'Bermuda” shorts to display her injured leg better.

“@BJP WB Pres asks in public meeting why Mamatadi is wearing a saree, she should be wearing “Bermuda” shorts to display her leg better And these perverted depraved monkeys think they are going to win Bengal?,” Moitra in her tweet said.
