Narendra Modi interacts with CMs over COVID-19 via video conference

New Delhi/IBNS: Indian PM Narendra Modi on Saturday attended a video conference where he interacted with the Chief Ministers of various states to combat COVID-19 outbreak.

The PM was seen wearing a mask during the video conference.

Some of the CMs were also seen covering their faces with masks.

India is currently under a 21-day lockdown to tackle the COVID-19 outbreak in the nation.

The lockdown period is scheduled to end on Apr 14.

The death toll due to COVID-19 in India has touched 239, Ministry of Health said on Saturday.

The country has reported 7447 COVID-19 patients so far.

So far, 6565 active cases are there in the country and 642 people have been discharged or released.

Maharashtra still remains the worst-hit state with  1872 cases. 110 deaths have been reported.
