Manipur: Seven militants nabbed, arms-ammo recovered

Guwahati, Feb 10 (IBNS) : Security forces on Friday apprehended seven militants and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in poll bound Manipur.

According to the reports, Army Red Shield Division launched operation in Churachandpur district and apprehended four KNF(D) cadre.


Army troop revcovered two pistols, two magazines and six rounds in possession from them.


On the other hand, Imphal West Police Commando arrested 3 KCP members including two women cadres.


The police commando had recovered 2 hand grenades, 2 detonators and 26 demand letters in possession from them.


Manipur is going to hold the assembly poll on March 4 and 8.
