Maldives President Muizzu sends message to PM Modi, condoles loss of lives in Wayand landslides

Maldives President  Mohamed Muizzu has sent a message to PM Narendra Modi condoling the loss of lives in the landslides in southern Indian district of Wayanad.

The natural calamity left 170 people dead.

The President expressed profound sorrow upon learning of the landslides in Wayanad that took the lives of over a hundred and injured many more.

He described the extensive loss of lives, livelihoods, and devastation caused by this disaster as an unimaginable tragedy.

In his message, the President offered condolences on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives.

He expressed hope that the search and rescue efforts at the site will be able to operate quickly and successfully.
