Mahasweta Devi death: Rahul Gandhi mourns
New Delhi, July 28 (IBNS): Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi mourned Mahasweta Devi's death as the writer passed away in Kolkata on Thursday.
Gandhi called her a powerful voice against injustice and inequality.
"A powerful voice against injustice & inequality.Mahasweta Devi's words will continue to inspire &educate.Heartfelt condolences on her demise," Office of RG tweeted.
Mahasweta Devi passed away at a hospital in Kolkata on Thursday.
She was 90.
