Maharashtra: Teenager ends life in Nashik

Nashik/UNI: A teenager allegedly committed suicide on Monday by hanging at his residence in Shirwade Wakad village of Niphad taluka here.

The deceased has been identified as Pramod Sopan Sonawane (19), who lived in the Prabhavati Nagar tribal area.

According to the Lasalgaon Police, the incident came to fore when Pramod's kin found his body hanging from the ceiling after they woke up in the morning.

Subsequently, they alerted the police and a team reached the spot.

A panchnama of the crime scene was conducted while the body has been sent for post mortem, police told, adding that the cause of suicide is not yet ascertain.

A case has been filed and further probe is underway.
