Maharashtra: COVID-19 patient booked for fleeing from Aurangabad hospital

Aurangabad, Maharashtra/UNI: A 32-year-old man, tested positive for Coronavirus was traced here on Tuesday after he fled from the hospital where he was being treated.

On May 17, the patient sneaked out of the hospital, however the incident came to fore today when the doctors came for a routine check up.

Subsequently, the hospital informed police which spotted him near the MGM hospital in the wee hours.

An offence has been registered against him with the MIDC Cidco Police Station while he was again admitted for treatment.

Recently, an elderly woman also fled from the same hospital, only to be found and admitted again.
