Madras HC cancels Dayanidhi Maran's anticipatory bail plea
Chennai, Aug 10 (IBNS): Dismissing his anticipatory bail plea, the Madras High Court on Monday directed former Union Minister Dayanidhi Maran to surrender before the CBI in three days.
The court dismissed his bail plea in connection with the illegal telephone exchange case.
The case is connected with the CBI's allegation that the former Minister had used his official position and directed senior BSNL officials and took more than 300 phone connections, four leased circuit and 19 post-paid mobile connections as service connections in his Chennai residence.
