Lok Sabha Polls: East Tripura recorded about 60% casting votes till 1500 hrs

Ambassa (Tripura), Apr 23 (UNI) East Tripura parliamentary constituency recorded about 60 per cent casting votes till 1500 hrs, according to primary report which might increase up to 65 or 68 per cent till the accumulation of data from all the assembly segments.

The office of the Returning Officer reported the casting to be about 69 per cent till 1500 hrs.

However, the Returning Officer asserted that, the actual figure might increase up to 65 or 68 per cent till the accumulation of data from all the assembly segments as many segments remained at critical places with very poor connectivity.
