Let's refer to physically challenged as Divyaang: PM Modi on Mann Ki Baat
New Delhi, Dec 27 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 'Mann Ki Baat' address urged citizens to refer the physically challenged as Divyaang (of godly parts) instead of 'Viklaang' (handicapped).
"God gives an 'extra power' to the physically challenged.. To us, they may seem at a disadvantage, but they have a special talent within," PM Modi said in the 15th edition of his radio address on Sunday.
This was Modi's last radio address in 2015, where he also urged citizens for a cleaner India to make the country an attractive tourist destination.
"There is indeed a need to pay special attention to cleanliness at our tourist destinations," said he.
