Kolkata: Fire breaks out at Park Mansion

| @indiablooms | Aug 20, 2020, at 07:26 pm

Kolkata/UNI: A fire broke out in multi-storey Park Mansion at Park Street early this morning, destroying documents and moveable property of a corporate office, fire brigade officials said.

There had been no report of any casualty in the fire so far.

The mansion also housed several residents, who came out in panic before the four firefighting vehicles put off the blaze within two hours.

They said the flat, where the fire broke out, was the office of Paramount Tea Co on the 3rd floor, and the blaze started from the server room, where the air condition machines were on.

Initially, the local guards after watching the smoke coming out from the flat immediately rushed and rescued two employees trapped inside and then called the fire brigade, which doused the flames.
