Kashmir's SIO appointed as the Nodal Officer during Amit Shah's visit

Jammu/IBNS: The government on Wednesday appointed the State Informatics Officer of the National Informatics Centre, J&K as the Nodal Officer for ensuring internet connectivity at all venues, including the Raj Bhavan, Srinagar during the visit of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the union territory.

"It is hereby ordered that Abhay Kumar- State Informatics Officer, National Informatics Centre, J&K shall be the Nodal Officer for ensuring seamless internet connectivity, video conferencing facility etc. at all the venues, including Raj Bhavan, Srinagar (auditorium) during the visit of VVIP to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir," read an order issued by GAD Commissioner.

As per the order, Chief Executive Officer, JAKEGA will ensure all logistics and manpower for the visit, including a high-resolution projector, and screen for installation of the auditorium at the Raj Bhavan, Srinagar.
