Kashmir: Man killed, another injured in Kupwara accident

Srinagar/UNI: A person was killed and another injured when a two-wheeler which they were riding was hit by a vehicle in north Kashmir district of Kupwara on Friday night, official sources said on Saturday.

They said an unidentified vehicle hit a two-wheeler at Dooniwari area in Kupwara last night.

The two persons identified as Fasil Subhan and Saqib Hassan, who were riding the two-wheeler, were critically wounded.

Both the injured were rushed to hospital where Saqib was declared brought dead.

Police have registered a case and launched a massive hunt to trace the vehicle and driver, they added.
