Kashmir: Four suspects arrested in Budgam with arms

Srinagar/UNI: Security forces arrested four suspects in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam district during the intervening nights of Monday and Tuesday, the Army said.

They said three pistols and other warlike stores were recovered from them.

The Army said the four were apprehended in the Beerwah area of Budgam by a joint team of forces.

"In a Joint Operation launched by #IndianArmy, @JmuKmrPolice & Int agencies on the intervening night of September 25–26 in Beerwah, #Budgam, four suspected individuals have been apprehended. 03xPistols & other war-like stores recovered. Investigation is in progress," Army's Srinagar-based Chinar Corps said in a post on X.

The identities of the four were not immediately disclosed.
