Jharkhand: Swami Agnivesh allegedly attacked by BJP Yuva Morcha workers

Pakur, July 17 (IBNS): Members of BJP Yuva Morcha allegedly attacked social activist  Swami Agnivesh in Pakur district of Jharkhand on Tuesday, media reports said.

The attackers reportedly showed black flags to the social activist.

Slogans were also raised against him, reports said.

Swami Agnivesh went to Pakur to attend an event and was attacked after he came out from a hotel in the area, reports said.

"I am against any sort of violence. I am known as a peace-loving person. I don't know why I was attacked," Swami Agnivesh told NDTV.
