Srinagar/UNI: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel on Friday resorted to aerial firing after some miscreants pelted stones at their convoy in central Kashmir district of Budgam.

Official sources said that CRPF vehicles where on way to Dooniwari Chadoora camp from Chanapora when they were pelted stones by a group of miscreants near Kralpora.

“The security forces fired few aerial shots to disperse the miscreants,” they said, adding that no one was injured in the incident.

They said a police party was rushed to the area and the situation was under control.
