Jammu and Kashmir: 2 CRPF troopers among 4 injured in grenade attack

Srinagar/UNI: Two Central Reserve Police Force troopers and two civilians were injured in a grenade attack in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday, police said.

The grenade was lobbed in Palhalan Pattan towards a security patrol injuring at least four with splinters in the blast.

"2 CRPF men and 2 civilians suffered splinter injuries . All the injured were shifted to nearby Pattan hospital for treatment," a senior police officer in north Kashmir said.

The area was later cordoned off by the forces for a search operation.
