I do not want anything for myself in I.N.D.I.A alliance: Nitish Kumar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Sunday that he does not wish anything personally from I.N.D.I.A., the opposition's alliance, adding that he only wants to unite everyone.

While talking to media persons after reviewing the pace of the under-construction Lohia Path here, Kumar said since the beginning he has been striving to unite the opposition parties.

Replying to the queries of media persons regarding opposition raising fingers at the proposed meeting of the I.N.D.I.A. alliance to be held in Mumbai, he said that he never wished anything for himself and that his only mission was to unite everyone.

Kumar said that the opposition's statements had no value and their comments were irrational.

He said that visualising their loss following opposition's unity, the BJP was issuing absurd statements.

Kumar said, that to attend the meeting he would be visiting Mumbai where some more parties would join the I.N.D.I.A. alliance and would decide on various issues.

The Chief Minister said that he wished who would contest from where should be decided soon.

Speaking about Lohiya path, Kumar said that the project would be complete by Durga puja festival.

"Communication would be more convenient after completion of the project," he said and informed that 80 years old buildings near the project area would be demolished and new multi-story buildings would be constructed.

The chief minister instructed the authorities concerned to complete the project by the stipulated period.

During the review , the additional chief secretary road construction department Amrit Pratyay apprised the chief minister about the details of the project and about the service roads connecting it as well as plying routes of the vehicles.
