Heavy to very heavy rain likely in AP, Yanam in next 24 hrs: MeT

Amaravati/UNI: Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.

In a bulletin here, it said that heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on November 12.

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places or at many places or at few places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the same period.

Very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Chittoor district of Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.

Rainfall occurred at few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam (Puducherry) and Rayalaseema during the same period.

The lowest minimum temperature of 18 degree Celsius was recorded at Arogyavaram in the intervening nights on Wednesday and today, the bulletin added.
