Have old relationship with Ayodhya: Yogi Adityanath

Lucknow, Nov 2 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said he has an old relationship with Ayodhya which will always remain while addressing a programme of the Irrigation Department at Lok Bhawan here.

The UP CM congratulated the newly-appointed assistant engineers of the Irrigation Department and also gave them their appointment letters. The department is getting 544 Assistant Engineers together, for the first time.

Adityanath said this time, the Irrigation Department made a major arrangement at the 'Ram ki Pauri' in Ayodhya. Earlier, the Saryu water used to flow into Ram ki Pauri and would rot but now, water flows from one side and goes into Saryu again from the other side.

Yogi said now, there is no need for anyone's recommendations in appointments and transfers. He said that he was happy that today, the government brought in this transparency, adding that this plan should have been introduced long back but corruption in the previous governments hindered the same.
