Four Lashkar OGWs arrested in Kashmir's Sopore

Baramulla/UNI: Four alleged Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were arrested in a joint operation by security forces in apple township of Sopore in this north Kashmir district, official sources said on Wednesday.

They said on a tip-off about the OGWs working for LeT, troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir and CRPF conducted raids at several places, including Athoora, Chanpora and Puthkah Muqam in Sopore.

During the raids, four OGWs identified as Irfan Khan, Qiesar Rehman, Suhail Ahmad and Irfan Mir were arrested.

The arrested OGWs confessed that they were working for LeT militants and were involved in a number of grenades and other attacks.
