Disgusting that girl planning her own rape: Swati Maliwal reacts to new twist in Bois Locker Room scandal probe

New Delhi/IBNS: Delhi Commission for Women chairperson Swati Maliwal has hit out at the girl whose involvement was found in the Bois Locker Room scandal after it was probed by police.

In a new twist to the scandal, police found the "gang-rape" comment was never made in the Bois Locker Room chat group on Instagram but on Snapchat by a girl who posed as a boy.

The girl by creating a fake Snapchat account in the name Siddharth was sending the messages to a boy to test the latter's response.

Later the screenshot of the chat was posted on social media and shared in the Instagram group and got mixed up.

Reacting to the twist, Maliwal tweeted, "Disgusting that a girl sent out snapchat msg to a boy planning her own rape. ‘Bois Locker Room' chats are not connected to this Snapchat but equally offensive & warrant legal action! The girl endangered cause of hundreds facing cyber abuse everyday! MUST be acted against too!"

The boy in the Snapchat had refused to take part in the fake plan of the girl and later he had shared the screenshot of the chat in the Instagram chat group.

Police said the girl, knowing it was her who had started the discussion, didn't report the incident.

Later one of the boy's friends had shared the screenshot on Instagram.

Police said no case will be filed either against the girl or the boy.

A class 12 student was arrested last week for starting the Bois Locket Room Instagram chat group where obscene messages besides morphed images of girls were shared.
