DGP extends greetings to Jammu and Kashmir women

Srinagar: On the occasion of International Women’s Day being celebrated on March 8 across the world, Director General of Police Dilbag Singh Sunday extended greetings and good wishes to all the women of the Jammu Kashmir, particularly the women of the J&K Police family.

A statement of J&K Police issued here said that the DGP in his message expressed deep sense of gratitude over the different roles being played by womenfolk at different stages and the contribution made by women who make up half of humanity and act as a decisive force in the existence and progress of the social establishment of the world.

Singh said March 8 was a day to celebrate the commitment, dedication and hard work of the mothers, sisters, life partners and daughters who not only contributes in many fields of life but also lead their respective teams.
