Delhi is suffering for no fault of theirs: Arvind Kejriwal tweets on pollution

New Delhi/IBNS: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday sought immediate actions by the central government to solve the air pollution trouble in the national capital.

Asking the Centre to take immediate measures, Kejriwal said his government is ready to support the Centre in all its initiative related to the air pollution issue.

He tweeted: " Pollution has rched unbearable levels across N India. Del govt taken many steps. Delhiites hv made many sacrifices. Del suffering for no fault of theirs. Punjab CM also expressd concern. Centre shud take immediate steps 2 provide relief. V will support Centre in all initiatives."

Delhi has been combating the air pollution trouble for several days now.

Air pollution levels in Delhi went deep into the "emergency" zone this morning with the national capital recording an overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of 625 - the highest this year - at around 10 am, reported NDTV.

Odd-Even system will be implemented in the national capital from Monday.

Moreover, schools will remain closed in the city till Tuesday.
