Crime in Bihar: Cash and jewellery worth Rs 50 lakhs stolen from House in Patna

Patna/UNI: Cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs 50 lakhs were stolen from a House in P C Colony under Patrakar Nagar police station area here late last night.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sadar) Kiran Kumar Gorakh Jadhav said today that thieves broke the lock of the main gate of House and entered into it as no one was present there. They managed to escape easily with cash, jewellery and other valuables worth Rs 50 lakhs from the spot, he added.

"When family members returned this morning, they found the lock broken and the cash and valuables missing", Jhadav said, adding that an FIR had been lodged in this connection. Raids were being carried out to nab the thieves and recover stolen goods and cash from them.
