COVID19: Suspected patient dies in K'taka

Kalaburagi/UNI: A person, who was reportedly suffering from the infectious disease Covid-19  died in the district on Wednesday.

According to official sources, a patient identified as Mohammed Siddiqui (76) was suffering from suspected Covid-19 disease and got admitted in a hospital.

The district health authorities had sent his blood sample for testing, which was yet to be confirmed for Covid-19 disease.

The state health commissioner in a statement had said that  it can not be confirmed that the death was due to Covid-19 disease as the report is yet to receive on the issue.

The patient arrived in Kalaburagi from Saudi Arabia on February 29.
