COVID19 BREAKINGNEWS: West Bengal announces lockdown from Mar 23 to 27

Kolkata/IBNS: The West Bengal government on Sunday annouced to lock down the state from March 23 at 4 pm to March 27 till 12 pm midnight, according to an ordere by the state's health department to combat coronavirus spread. The operative part of the government order reads as below:

 

The order of the West Bengal government came amid the observance of a Janata Curfew on Sunday across India at the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop spreading of Coronavirus in the country.

India has so far regisetered seven deaths from Covid-19. India reported its seventh COVID 19 death today as a patient passed away in Surat city of Gujarat. Earlier in the day deaths were reported from Mumbai (Maharashtra) and Bihar's Munger. 

The Indian government on Sunday advised 75 districts affected by the novel coronavirus will be put under lockdown, except the operation of essential services.
