COVID-19: DC imposes 7-day curfew in Hingoli, Maha

Hingoli/UNI: As the number of COVID-19 patients were increasing everyday in the state and district, Hingoli District Collector and Chairman of District Disaster Management Ruchesh Jayavanshi imposed a seven-day curfew in the entire Hingoli district, to prevent the spread of Novel Coronavirus.

For all kinds of movement (persons/vehicles) in the entire Hingoli district (rural / urban) and for all establishments, shops and canteens, curfew will start on March 1 at 0700 hrs, and will remain enforced up to Mar 7 at 1200 hrs.

During this period, milk selling center, milk sellers will be allowed to operate from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

During this period all government, semi-government offices, banks in the district will continue to function.

All religious places of worship, places of worship, all schools, colleges, all Marriage offices, lawns in the district will be closed during this period.

Drug stores will be allowed to continue during this period, During this period, journalists and their office staff will be allowed to come and go for reporting and office work during this period.

Permission to work on National Highways and State Highways in the district, construction related to health, government department, maintenance and repair work from MSEDCL, Mahatransport and other electrical related departments, telecommunication related services, water supply, drainage and sanitation works, permitted by Collectorate, petrol pumps in the district will continue to supply fuel only to government vehicles, essential service vehicles and agricultural service related vehicles among others.
