Cabinet approves six per cent DA hike for Central Govt. employees

New Delhi, Sept 9 (IBNS) The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved six per cent dearness allowance hike for its employees taking it to 119 per cent from 113 per cent, reports said.
The DA hike will benefit more than one crore of central government employees and pensioners.
 
The last time the government hiked DA was in April when also it was a jump by six per cent.
