British Secretary of State for International Development Priti Patel meets Modi

New Delhi, Aug 13 (IBNS): British Secretary of State for International Development Priti Patel met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday.

MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted: "A morning for Diplomacy. After Chinese FM, UK Secy of State for International Development @patel4witham calls on PM."

After the meeting, Patel said she discussed issues related to strategic partnership between India and UK were discussed with the PM.

"UK-India strategic partnership discussed during meeting with Prime Minister Modi," Patel tweeted.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also met the Indian PM earlier.
