BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari meets Amit Shah, discusses recent attack on party cadres in West Bengal

New Delhi/UNI: West Bengal BJP leader and Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence here.

After the meeting, Adhikari said that he discussed several matters pertaining to his state and sought the HM's blessings.
He also discussed the incidents of recent attack on the BJP cadre in the state.

“Met the Honourable Union Home Minister @AmitShah Ji. Discussed on several matters and seeked blessings for Bengal. Honourable HM assured, he was and he will be there for Bengal always,” Adhikari tweeted.

The Office of the Home Minister also shared a picture of the two BJP leaders on Twitter captioned it 'Shri Suvendu Adhikari ji called on Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji."

He also met Port and Shipping Minister Mansukh Mandavia this morning and is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

This is first visit of the Bengal BJP leader after the State Assembly election wherein he defeated Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram Assembly seat.
