BJP leader Ram Murti Tripathi dies of Coronavirus

Pratapgarh/UNI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and senior advocate Ram Murti Tripathi died due to the Novel Coronavirus infection here on Monday morning.

Family sources here said that the 91-year-old was admitted to Lucknow's Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences after he had tested positive for Covid-19.

There was an air of mourning in the district as well as the local court as soon as the news of his death was received.

Tripathi was popular for his combative style.
