Assam Rifles officials conduct COVID-19 awareness camp in Nagaland’s Peren

Kohima/IBNS: Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) recently conducted a COVID-19 awareness campaign at Old Chalkot village in Nagaland’s Peren district.

Assam Rifles distributed face masks and sanitizers to villagers and briefed them about various health and hygiene precautions to be taken during the COVID-19 pandemic.

They were also informed about the admission process in Sainik School Punglwa.

A total of 37 villagers attended the awareness camp to include 13 males, six Females and 18 children.

The GBs and Chairman and the villagers came forward to acknowledge these efforts and thanked the forces for this selfless service to the people.
