Assam Rifles distribute sewing machines among villagers in Arunachal Pradesh

Guwahati/IBNS: Longding Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) distributed 6 sewing machines under Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme Project 2021-22 at Rusa village in Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The project for the distribution of sewing machines was aimed at promoting women empowerment, assisting local women to support their families and enhancing their standard of living.

The local population expressed gratitude towards Assam Rifles for supporting women empowerment in the region.
