America loves India: Donald Trump responds to PM Modi's wish on US Independence Day

Washington/IBNS: US President Donald Trump has thanked Indian Prime Minister Modi for wishing him on America's 244th Independence Day.

Responding to PM Modi's tweet, Trump wrote: "Thank you my friend. America loves India!"

Wishing Trump on US's Independence Day, PM Modi said recognised America as the world's largest democracy.

He tweeted: "I congratulate @POTUS @realDonaldTrump and the people of the USA on the 244th Independence Day of the USA. As the world's largest democracies, we cherish freedom and human enterprise that this day celebrates. @WhiteHouse."
