J&K: Registration programme for unorganized workers under Education Department held

Srinagar/IBNS: The District Administration of Srinagar organized a special camp on e SHRAM Portal for awareness purposes and registration of unorganized workers under the Education Department at the S.P Higher Secondary School, Srinagar

The programme was organized on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad.

During the camp, the Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) interacted with scores of contingent paid workers and part time employees working in the Education Department and informed them about the process and benefits of getting registered on the e-SHRAM Portal.

The ALC said that special camps and awareness programmes are being organised through the common service centres (CSC) across the Srinagar district.

He said registration on the e-SHRAM portal requires Aadhaar details, bank account number linked with one's Aadhar card and an age limit starting from 18 to 59.
