US President Trump, wife dance at Freedom Ball

Washington, Jan 21 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump took to the stage for their first dance at the Freedom Ball, following the former's oath taking ceremony.

Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States of America and succeeded Barack Obama, who served two terms and was the first black man to preside over the nation.

Trump also thanked his fans following the event and promised to 'Make America Great Again'.

"THANK YOU for another wonderful evening in Washington, D.C. TOGETHER, we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN," his tweet read.

"January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again!" a tweet from the official account of POTUS read.
