An IED blast in Pakistan's Kech district of Balochistan recently left at least two Pakistani Army troops killed, media reports said on Saturday.

The incident left four people injured.

Unidentified individuals targeted a Pakistan Army convoy with an improvised explosive device (IED) on the CPEC route in the Sami area of Kech, reported The Balochistan Post.

Meanwhile,  Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the incident.

BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said: “BLA fighters targeted a military convoy, resulting in the killing of two enemy personnel and injuring four others, while the vehicle was completely destroyed in the remote-controlled blast.”
