Toronto, Nov 13 (IBNS): A Toronto Transit Commission bus crashed in the city’s wesr end on Saturday night, injuring over five people at the spot.

Toronto Police arrived at the Lawrence Avenue West and Black Creek Drive area around 10:20 p.m. after they received a call reporting a collision.

Const. Alyson Douglas-Cook informed the media that three people were present in the bus at the time of the collision and two others were travelling in the other vehicle when the collision took place and have sustained a few minor injuries.

But nevertheless, all five were immediately taken to the hospital by the Paramedic team, as part of precautionary duty.

Toronto Police tweeted that part of Lawrence Avenue West will be closed temporarily from Renfield Street to Chiswick Avenue as investigations continue.

The 52 Lawrence West bus will also face a diversion eastbound because of the temporary road closure.
