Pakistan: Unknown gunman kills anti-terrorism official
Peshawar: Unknown gunman shot dead an anti-terrorism official in northwest Pakistan on Saturday, media reports said on Monday.
Pakistani security officials told Xinhua news agenct that an unknown target killer fired on Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel outside the Central Jail in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing an inspector of the CTD.
Another CTD official was hurt in the incident.
He was shifted to hospital for treatment.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
