Islamabad, Sept 17 (IBNS): Body of a medical student, who was studying in Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) in Larkana area of Pakistan, was recovered from her hostel room, media reports said on Tuesday.

Her body was recovered from the room under suspicious circumstances.

The body of Nimrita Kumari, a student of the SMBBMU's Bibi Aseefa Dental College, was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her hostel room, the university administration confirmed to Geo News.

She was enrolled to university's Bachelor of Dental Surgery programme and was a final-year student.

The university's vice chancellor, Aneela Atta-ur-Rahman, told Geo News in this regard they had formed a committee to probe Kumari's alleged suicide.

It would be headed by the principal of Larkana's Chandka Medical College, she told the Pakistan-based news channel.
