Knife-wielding man 'attacks' soldier in Paris

Paris, Sept 15 (IBNS): A man has been arrested in Paris after he attacked a soldier on patrol in French city of Paris on Friday, media reports said.

The person reportedly attacked the soldier with a knife.

The attacker allegedly lunged at the soldier at the central Chatelet metro station, one of the busiest transport hubs in the French capital, around 6.30am local time, making reference to Allah, a police source  was quoted as saying by The Telegraph of the UK.

In France, several incidents have been reported in recent times when the police and soldiers of the nation were targeted.

The soldier was unhurt in the incident.

He took the attacker under control following the attack.
