The Israel Defense Forces on Monday confirmed eliminating Hamas' naval commander Ramzi Ramadan Abd Ali Saleh in northern Gaza.

IDF confirmed two other members of the Palestinian militant group.

In an X post, IDF said: "ELIMINATED: Commander of Hamas’ Naval Force in northern Gaza and additional terrorists."

IDF further said: "The terrorist Ramzi Ramadan Abd Ali Saleh was eliminated by the IDF in Gaza City. Saleh was a significant source of knowledge within Hamas and in recent weeks, was involved in planning and advancing maritime terrorist attacks against IDF troops operating in Gaza."

Hisham Ayman Atiya Mansour– Deputy Head of Hamas’ mortar shell array cell, and Nissim Muhammad Suleiman Abu Sabha, a terrorist in Hamas’ mortar shell array, were also eliminated by Hamas.

Israeli forces have operated inside the Gaza Strip for over 20 months now since Hamas targeted Israel on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas attack left 1200 people dead, and 250 people were taken hostage.

Israel’s toll in the ground offensive against Hamas in Gaza and in military operations along the border with the Strip stands at 441, reported The Times of Israel.
