Grenade lobbed in Afghanistan cricketer's house, no casualty

Kabul, Feb 13 (IBNS): Unidentified men have lobbed hand grenade in the house of Afghanistan cricketer Hamid Hassan in eastern Nangarhar province, media reports said on Tuesday.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the Rokhan Township in limits of the 4th police district late on Monday night.

No casualty was reported in the incident.

Security officials have started investigation into the incident.

According to reports, security officials have taken control of the cricketer's house following the incident.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
