Hamburg: Hundreds of Afghanistanis, who are currently living in Germany, demonstrated in Hamburg city against the Taliban group which captured Afghanistan last month.

The protesters also urged the international community to put pressure on the group to ensure women rights in Afghanistan and to protect the country's honour.

Rallies and protests against the Taliban group have been taking place since the insurgents captured Afghanistan.

Holding national flags, Afghan nationals wave posters inscribed with their demands of ensuring women's rights in Afghanistan, the survival of the country, and the protection of national honour along with freedom, human rights and civil rights, Pajhwok Afghan News reported as quoted by ANI.

The United Nations on Friday slammed the Taliban group for its 'increasingly violent response' to protests ever since it took control over Afghanistan on Aug 15 after entering Kabul.

Protests against the Taliban administration have been taking place in different corners of Afghanistan since Aug 15.
