Gas explosion in Russia’s Urals city leaves three dead

Moscow, Dec 31 (IBNS): A gas explosion at a house in Russia's Urals city of Magnitogorsk left three people dead, local media reports said.

"As of 9.50 a.m. (4:50 GMT) six people have been pulled out of the rubble, three died, three were injured, including a child," read a statement issued by the  Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s regional branch.

Officials are believing that the gas explosion might be the key cause of the mishap.

The building's entrance hall collapsed after the explosion.

Rescue operation is currently going on.
